Pretty much anything by Michael Pollan is worth reading or listening to when it comes to food policy and the agribusiness in the US. ‘The Omnivore’s Dilemma’ is great place to start.  I have been listening to this for the 2nd time in my car as I drive across Long Beach from one client’s house to another.  It’s biological, political and theoretical all wrapped up in a well written and entertaining way that makes me feel like I am listening to a mystery novel!

His most recent book is called ‘Food Rules’ where he tries to put together some of his findings from previous research and put it together in a simple to use “set of rules”. These “rules” are intended to be both beneficial for both the individual AND the neighbors we live near. Its a ripple effect, more or less. And certainly Less is More!
